Beauty Bible review THERAPIE ENERGY DROPS

Michelle Roques-O’Neil THERAPIE Energy Drops

If you’re anything like us, you’re sooooooooo enjoying seeing people and going places again.

But if you’re anything like us, you’re also finding yourself – well, flagging, at times.

So our thanks go to one of the most gifted aromatherapists and holistic practitioners we know, Michelle Roques-O’Neil, for Energy Drops: a blend which definitely retrieves your get-up-and-go from wherever it got-up-and-went.

Basically, you place a drop or two from the Energy Drops bottle onto palms, rub together and b-r-e-a-t-h-e. Ideally, cup the palm over your nose, breathe in for a count of three, hold breath for a count of two, and exhale to a count of three. Hold for two beats, before repeating – ideally, three to five times.

The potent blend of carefully-chosen aromatherapy oils, we have found, immediately lift the spirits and energy levels, while also focusing the mind – not unlike putting on blinkers, so you can refocus on the task in hand. It also seems to reboot creativity, we’re finding.

The essential oils are a fab and fragrant blend in their own right: lemon, fir needle, sweet basil, rose geranium, ylang ylang and rose otto, grounded by damiana and tulsi, peppermint and frankincense. Spoiler alert: we’ve been adding a dab or two to skin (it’s in a base of carrier oils, so this is safe), just behind the ears under the hair – to ensure no interaction between essential oils and the sun – for the sheer pleasure of breathing the oils. You might alternatively try a dab or two on a Kleenex, tucked into your bra, so that the scent wafts nostril-wards.)

A very timely launch, as we ease ourselves back to full-pace living.
