Happiness Soup
Over the past few weeks we’ve explored the many routes to Happiness and the positive habits that keep our happy vibes up. We know that many of the changes of habit are simple and you can incorporate them easily into your life on a daily basis; this keeps your happy quotients topped up and as a result production of the necessary happy chemicals at optimum levels. So much of our wellbeing can be made to feel like a burden, having fun creating a light hearted expression of joy on a daily basis. Look for ways they can be combined, like yoga in the sun, or running or power walking with music to take you into flow state.
Simple adjustments made in small increments to your diet are so much easier, its all about choice and it doesn’t have to be a penance. We also know that good sleep is essential to wellbeing, why not make it into a beautiful ritual each evening, draw a Cocoon bath, combine breath work to make the most of relaxing vapours as they arise, brew a herb tea of Lime flower or Vervain, a misting of Slumber pillow mist and lie down with a gentle inner smile and say healthy body, loving heart, reflective mind, lightness of spirit. It’s like a recipe, choosing the ingredients that seem important and that work for you. The most important thing is to approach all of these potential habits as rewards or bonuses rather than onerous tasks. Now try to create your own delicious recipe for a full filled joyous life.
